Yahoo Mail: How do I allow emails from STRATA?

If emails are going to Spam in Yahoo Mail or you are not receiving messages, Yahoo may be filtering the sender automatically. To fix this and ensure future messages arrive in your Inbox, you need to mark the email as Not Spam or add the sender to your Yahoo contacts or filters.

Step 1: Move the email out of Spam

  1. Open Yahoo Mail

  2. Go to the Spam folder

  3. Open the message from the sender

  4. Click Not Spam

Future emails from this sender will now go to your Inbox.

Step 2: Add the sender to contacts (recommended)

  1. Open the email

  2. Hover over or click the sender’s name

  3. Select Add to contacts

  4. Save the contact

Step 3: Create a filter (most reliable)

  1. Click the Settings gear icon

  2. Select More Settings

  3. Click Filters → Add new filters

  4. Enter the sender’s email address in the From field

  5. Choose Inbox as the delivery folder

  6. Click Save

Tip: If emails still go to Spam, drag the message into your Inbox — Yahoo will learn that you trust this sender and improve delivery.
