How is the value of an in-kind precious metals distribution determined?

When precious metals are distributed in-kind from your STRATA account, the reported value is based on the spot value of the metals on the date the assets leave the account.

Spot value reflects the market price of the underlying metal and is used for reporting purposes only. Reported values do not include dealer mark-ups, premiums, commissions, shipping costs, or other transaction-related pricing adjustments.

Because dealer pricing and buyback amounts may vary, the reported value should not be considered a guaranteed purchase or resale price from any broker or dealer.

Please refer to STRATA’s Precious Metals Investment Disclosure for additional information regarding spot pricing and valuation methodologies.
