What Is Needed to Make a Withdrawal from a STRATA IRA for a Non-U.S. Citizen?
Individuals requesting a withdrawal who are not considered U.S. citizens or resident aliens must provide IRS Form W-8BEN—Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding and Reporting.
During the distribution process, STRATA will prompt the individual to upload a completed W-8BEN form. You can learn more about the form and find instructions at IRS.gov.
