      What if My STRATA IRA Account Cash Balance Is Insufficient to Cover the RMD Amount?

      If you don’t have enough cash to cover the RMD in one IRA, then your options are as follows:

      1. Take the total RMD amount from a different IRA account and leave your STRATA IRA intact.
      2. Liquidate assets in order to make the distribution.
      3. Take the distribution in-kind.
