What are my options once my asset has paid out?

When your asset pays out, the proceeds will be deposited as cash into your STRATA account. From there, you may:

  • Reinvest the funds into another eligible alternative investment
  • Hold the funds as cash within your IRA (review STRATA's Uninvested Cash Policy)
  • Open or transfer funds to a brokerage account to invest in publicly traded securities

You are not required to reinvest immediately. However, keeping funds invested may help you continue working toward your retirement goals.
