How do I request a partial or full transfer of my STRATA account to another custodian?
Transfers are initiated by the receiving (successor) custodian. To begin the process, contact the successor custodian and complete their transfer request paperwork, indicating whether the request is for a full or partial transfer.
Once completed, the successor custodian will submit the transfer request and instructions to STRATA on your behalf. The request must generally include:
- Clear asset delivery instructions
- The accountholder’s signature
- A Letter of Acceptance signed by an authorized representative of the successor custodian

Processing Times
Once STRATA receives the transfer paperwork in good order, requests are generally processed within three business days.
